Witam,
Czy ktoś może mi powiedzieć, czy jest jeszcze dawny schronisko młodzieżowe "Fünfsee" między Polcynem Zdrojem a Czaplinkiem, a jeśli tak to gdzie dokładnie?

but i meant a different building.
The so called "Kreisjugendherberge Fünfsee" in the area formerly called "Fünfseengebiet" or Pommersche Schweiz".
Franz Stelter wrote in "Der Kreis Neustettin - Franz Stelter/Heinrich Rogge" on page 316: The location is 14km from Polzyn Zdroj and 16km from Czaplinek.
It must be near the former "Klaushagen" now Kluczewo.

By the way: Do you know whether there is a translation of the fantastic book "Der Kreis Neustettin" by Stelter in polish language?

„Czerwona Szkoła" - Ośrodek Towarzystwa Zapobiegania Narkomanii. The attic of this building burnt down in 2009, according to information available on the internet.

I did some research and it seems this beautiful buliding was completely destroyed about 4 years ago. What a shame...

Probably there were no funds for the renovation. Please see:

The local paper, 'Kurier Czaplinecki' dated April 2009, where they describe the fire that started on March 23rd, 2009. On the title page and on page number 4 you can see pictures of the building after the fire.

In the article they mention that the building and the roof are being secured to avoid further damage. An estimation of the budget needed for a renovation is in progress and the search for funds started. However there are some issues with the negative attitude of the local people, as this building hosted children and teenagers in rehab. It belongs to the 'Polish Society for Prevention of Drug Abuse' ('Polskie Towarzystwo Zapobiegania Narkomanii').

On page 8 there is another short article about the fire and the funds needed for renovation, with pre-war pictures of the place.

On the webpage of this society (http://www.ptzn.org.pl/oddzial.php?id=25" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;) there is information that the rehab center is in re-organization phase and was moved to Rudki near Wałcz - this is probably the location provided by Bronx.

thank you very, very much.
You are right it´s a pity. The building should be a hostel in this beatiful area formerly called "Pommersche Schweiz".
I am interested in this building because my father (Lived in Neustettin, Klosterweg 72, now ul. Szczecinska 39) told
me often about this building an area. It was at that time quite luxury. There is even a postcard showing the Washing rooms.
The same with the Zamek in Juchowo (My ancestors are from there). Some preparations at the roof in the 80`s and the building
would have been saved for later renovation.
And even the beautiful Officers mess in Borne Sulinowo (attached some pictures how it could be today.)

Dzisiaj dom oficera w Bornem to same ruiny, akurat ta sala doszczętnie spłoneła pod koniec lat 90. Choć żyrandole przetrwały, gdyż zostały przeniesione do kościoła. Zdjęcia dorzucę jak tylko znajdę trochę czasu by się tam przejść.

Co do zdjęć zamieszczonych przez "bastian'a" w poście z 22.02.2019 to datowanie na zdjęciach jest nieprawidłowe /może to skany i data skanowania ?/ . Byłem tam w roku 2011 i Kasyno Oficerskie było godne pożałowania choć jeszcze stało więc w roku 2015 nie mogło tak wyglądać !

Na zdjęciach jest bliźniaczy budynek bornieńskiego domu oficera stojący do dziś gdzieś w Niemczech.

you are right. The pictures are taken at the "twin-town" of "groß Born, now Borne Sulinowo, in Bergen.

You can see on google maps the "Roundhouse" which was the officers mess (the same as in Born exept an elevator and a "Kegelbahn", sorry german). and on the left the hospital similar to the one in Borne. The Officers mess is in an excellent condition. The hospital is rotten.
